Yeah, I think the TV poker boom is on its way out, especially with the American economy struggling the way it is. It couldn't last forever!

Plus there are so many new video avenues online now...

Last I heard, High Stakes was not filming any new shows. That's not to say they wouldn't, if they got new backing.

Looks like I need to connect my DVR to my DVD burner so I can keep some.

...ah heck, I'll just watch some of you high rollers on PS now :D

They announced today that when Poker After Dark returns on NBC in a few weeks, it will start off with a 200/400 NL cash game with $100K min buy in. So I guess those missing HSP can get a bit of a fix.

I never much liked to watch WPT or any other tournament on tv. I didn't mind the HSP series, it seemed more interesting than a tournament.

Watching them play a random hand, maybe 1 of 100, I just don't see how it's going to help my game or let me see how someone plays. You need a far larger sample to figure that out.
