Wish they would get rid of the november 9 and just play it through like last year....nobody will be interested in 4 months..........ok we will be but it kills the momentum for the peeps who followed it right through.. Hope jc tran wins.

lol was playing some 5/10 at Venetian yesterday and a buncha regs said Mortensen used to play cash there but ever since "making it big" he became a stuck-up arrogant douchebag to everyone he used to be friendly with. Also apparently despite "making it big", almost all his big wins went to makeup and he hasn't even made any real money from poker. Obviously this is only based on the accounts of just a few old-school Venetian cash regs and there may be a bit of jealousy there but based on what I've heard from other people it seems legit, definitely rooting against him.

Marc McLaughlin is an old-school mid-high FR reg from Stars (thenutspt). I think he still plays there and although I don't know him personally at all I've played a decent amount of hands online with him back in the day. Definitely pulling for him. After him I guess I'd go for David "Raptor" Benefield, always seemed like a really humble, classy guy despite being really good at poker.

They played it thru last year? I thought they took a 102-day recess & came back on Oct. 29 & 30

Was on TV along with other Cardrunner's coaches 'Taylor Caby' & 'Cole South' on 'PokerAfterDark'. (Season 5 'Nets vs. Vets, Cash Game'). Vets were Doyle Brunson, Gabe Kaplan & Eli Elezra.

there's alot of different social circles in the world of drugs & addicts. (ie. take movie stars... some worth 10's of millions & are full-flown addicts).

to say that women aren't playing poker because of math is just ridiculous. It's been a game that has been dominated by men since it's inception. Anyone can play poker. Look at Vanessa Selbst, she's on of the best tourney players around. Women at the poker table can have different strengths. Some guys will try and bluff them. Push them around. Some guys won't bluff them at all. Women seem to be more intuitive overall than men(generalization). Personally, if you're sitting at the same table as me with chips, I assume that you want mine just as much as I want yours. While I don't have much experience playing poker with ladies in huge mtt tourneys, I have played tons of tournaments at the bar, home games, etc. If any of you think she's going to spend her winnings buying you a beer because you didn't shove the flop when you had the nut flush, you're crazy.
They are poker players and if you are going to fall for that "i'm just a girl crap" you deserve to be felted.
I'd value bet the river on Mariah Carey just as much as I would to that girl that was cheating on me lol.
I'm not going to soft play someone because she's showing me some cleavage lol

Canadians are on fire this year at the WSOP bracelets galore and 1 guy left in the final 9 at the main event ,last years final was quite the battle cant wait to see how it goes this year.
