The luck is on, we realize that for some years now, we had unknown players taking this great prize, I hope it is some beginner with the claw to displace the poker monsters that today dominate these championships world-wide.

Honestly I believe that it would be great if Daniel takes it but any of the known players would be great news for the poker world because it would prove that skill over luck is a major factor in our beloved game however because the field is made up largely of unknown luck will always be a major factor. Either way it would be great if Daniel makes a deep run and even takes the title.

But FT will be many nationalities ,
Prob at least 3 pro's

Would be cool for a well known pro to take it down, love to see Daniel or any big name do it.
But always love that amateur thing anyone can do it too .

I don't think Chris Ferguson would make it out of the Rio alive if he beat Negreanu heads up haha!

Helmuth having a least one breakdown is the safest bet of the summer though!

I'd love to see one of the many great lady poker pros win....or Doyle Brunson. It would be nice for Doyle to have another big hurrah...the man has always carried himself with poise and dignity....a class act like him deserves to win.

There are significantly more unknown players than pros so the odds favor an unknown player.
