I only play cash games with friends and I'll tell you why.

Going to your local casino for a cash game is cool and all, but there are players who work in tandem, colluding by tipping their hands to each other which is cheating.  I've never witnessed it, but let's be real.  There are players working in teams somewhere out there.

I was going to explain how this is cheating and how it's a disadvantage for everyone else at the table, but I think everybody here gets it.  Great...now I gave you all an idea!  I would never do it because I'm not a scumbag and I don't want to get shot.  Hey, some places still keep it Wild West.  You and your buddy get caught cheating, good luck!

So, I prefer tournaments where people are randomly seated and only play cash games with the homies.

If you play cash games at casinos, get to know the people there like the regulars.  Beware of strangers who seem too friendly with one another, or just plain suspicious.  Keep a tab on everybody.
