Are you addicted to poker?

Well, I'm addicted to poker somehow, but not necessarily addicted to playing poker.
I'm not addicted to the business side of poker, I enjoy to play and watching poker, and ofcourse to read and talk about poker, cant forget it

I am for sure addicted to poker. I am watching the WPT and playing on Carbon Poker right now..... Everything about poker I love.....

I believe I know too much to stop ... It would have to be awfully terrible for me to cold turkey poker.

I agree that poker can be addictive and I can see how people get addicted to it. I take regular breaks from it and try and keep it in perspective with other things in life. Works for me.

I used to think I'm addicted because i was playing 5+ hours 7 days a week for months at a time. However I played under 10 hours total this past month because I was busy and got my first motorbike

. So I do not think I am addicted, just hadd nothing better to do.

Well looks like most of ya'll have took the biggest step

so shall i Im Eli and I AM addicted to playing poker, any game of poker even if my son makesup a game where the 3s5s7s are wild Ill play it, cause i love poker.I love watching it reading about it.I even got some chips and a deck of bicycle cards(un opened) in my glove compartment of my car just in case

so yeah i love the game.

I was addicted to poker? Probably yes! However, not so hard! I do not read books about poker and do not watch it on TV. But to play, play and play! My wife says that I have serious problems with the game of poker! So I - addicted player

I wouldn't say that I'm addicted to poker (although I may be), but I spend much of my spare time playing. It is also my job as I am a tournament director for a local bar league. So even when I am working I am involved with poker.

I think I may be a poker addict BUT luckily not a gambling addict so the money side of it is under control at least. You can't beat that feeling of starting a new game or tournament with all the possibilties of making that final table (like a new football season starting). Love it.

i thought i was as well but got a job and played once for an hour in the past month.. i keep up on cc all the time though on my cell.. havent even been on the computer in the last 2 weeks until today. i played everyday for hours between sept. to april because i was laid off..

I think you need to define what you mean by "addicted".

I don't want to sound like a dick, but people here claiming they're "addicted" are likely not, at least by any generally accepted medical definition.

I play for free online somewhat often but I only played in a casino once. After a not so great first experience I was turned of poker all together for like a month.

idk, I enjoy the game and I enjoy thinking about it. Don't really have time to play everyday so I guess the only reason I wouldn't be addicted is due to not playing enough. XD
