Can't ever see online poker being better than live poker. I think they are both about to have a big rise in interest again, but, don't ever think we'll have one without the other. It's like FIFA on the PS4 it's amazing, but, will never take over from Barcelona playing Real Madrid.

Home games among friends is the best! Then at Vegas to see how you stack up in tournaments is great. But online when you don't have the time to get out,and after you get to know a few players is really good! I guess i'd say in general poker is great anywhere! Think the internet makes some play really bad hands and complain when they don't win more, but that is entertaining in itself.

No way. That would be believing every movie theater will close because people can buy movies and play it at home.

Sometimes you just want to get out of the house and hear or feel the sound of real chips. See a persons face as they try not to reveal if they are bluffing or have the nuts. Sorry, no meal at home is going to replace the casino food made available as comps.

Online poker has its place and live poker has its place.

No, live poker is game that can't be beaten by the technology. You can see emotion and faces players and that is think what we will never have in online poker.

No way. Poker will always be a social game, therefore there will always be places to play live poker. Which is good, because I prefer live to online.

Poker will be played in live Tournament and at home forever,
Online poker is already more popular and extended than live due to the fact that you dont need to assemble a whole table in an specific place. on line poker allows you to complete a table with players from all around the world but never will be as exciting as in a live set up.

I dont think so but online is definitely closer for too many players and that is a fact. But live poker is also much better to play because of emotions and the game itself

Never. Live poker games will never end. Actually, I think online poker is losing their space because a lot of countries are restricting online poker and a lot of poker rooms are closing or not paying.

Not necessarily, just because the live element adds extra dimensions to the game. But I definitely think online will take over more of the market as time goes on, without a doubt. Especially when these mobile poker Apps get up and running, ACR CEO said it would be up in a few months I believe.

I don't think so, but of course everything changes. And with the technology that we have right now there might be a great chance. A lot of casino website are up this day, but its pretty different when you play live and when its online.

The question is whether online will survive. Outside the US probably yes. but inside the US is in doubt. I mean in a meaningful way. Right now online poker is not being played in a meaningful way inside the US. It is amazing to see the lack of understanding of the potential of online poker in the US. The greed and stupidity can be expected, but the slowness to grab millions in taxation is a little confusing... especially with so many states hard up!

I think online poker will become a lot more popular in the future just because its difficult for people who live far away from casinos to play poker as often as they'd like. That being said there is something special about playing live poker and im certain it will never go away : )
