To me online poker is like a new poker player setting at a table of experienced poker players. They don't know about fingernail marking, dealing seconds, stacking decks. They think they stand a chance to win! Online poker makes me feel like I'm that new player at the table. Only thing is I have been playing for 50 years!!!!!

Every site I have played on has been legit. You can't be successful as site operator otherwise. Every hand is available to veiw. People run programs to try to discredit online poker. That is how they uncovered UB back in the day.

You can truly benifit from a forum like this if you take a much more positive approach to the game. Playing for 50 years and making comments like the ones you have here is pathetic. How about learning the game from people who played for many years online and have been profitable instead of blaming everything else. Just some honest advice for you.

If you get in a real position of power who knows what you might do, especially when pushing small margins means a lot of profit with large playerbases.

I would "honestly" make as much money as I can.

And here is a guy who honestly doesn't have a CLUE about how to play poker. To some of you who are very new to the game, he might try to convince you that you're not actually playing poker but the thing is, this guy doesn't even know how to play poker and wouldn't even be able to tell a good player from a bad one. If I could click on 'dislike' after his posts, I'd be doing so after just about every single one. Almost all of them have a common theme.... he's professing the sites are rigged. LMAO
Hahaha I don't need to convince anyone. I always say play and see for yourself. Check out my challenge thread in the Bad Beats and Vents section. I lay out my ideas for everyone to test on their own. Then when I win with bad hands and lose with good hands and over 90+% equity, some guy with a broken liver calls me a bad player.

Hard decision Lol

It is a hard decision I guess I would like to think I wouldn't do it but we never know money is really poweful and I guess I could never know if I would do it until get the moment as I said I would like to think that I wouldn't. I think that my thoughts and my belief no allowed me to do that I'm right now I say that I'm not gonna do it even if there is no chance to get cough I guess I prefer be honest and hard work for what I want and know that that is mine cause' I worked for it. I think money does not make you happy if you know deep inside that you did not earn it.

The basis for this thread is the question I ask. I am and old poker player wise to the world of poker. I was a regular player in Odessa Texas with Johnny Moss when I was 17 years old and lived in an apartment complex owned by him. I played when I would save up enough money to buy in. When they played downtown at the Inn of the Golden West I usually didn't have the buy in but they let me watch. I learned from the best in the world. I am a winning poker player for all my years. So when you call someone out you should know who and what your talking about. You don't have a clue who your talking to.

I also helped Doyle Brunson build up Doylesroom before he sold it.

So online poker sites are owned by poker players that had the same questions put before them. WHAT DID THEY DO?

I believe they went for the million dollars a week. What are your thoughts?

I would keep it honest because in the long run think I would make millions over time

I have a feeling that those who will be the scapegoats are already padding their off-shore bank accounts for that bad day and chances are that they will become very scarce to find, if they are even sought at all on these islands. I mean come on - what law are they breaking? Even if it is rigged? They call online poker a poker experience. Nowhere do they claim that it is completely random.

It's all about making the benjamins. Can you do it without screwing people over? I would like to think so but in the game of poker someone is always going to get screwed. So no matter how honest you are, people are still going to claim it's rigged rather that accept their lack of a skill set in online poker.

Really wasn’t looking for a poker resume but it looks like some of the post you made, were tongue and cheek. When you start a thread and mention site owners, dishonesty and million dollars it doesn’t place online poker in a positive light. You alluded to maybe not having some favorable out comes. Those are what prompted my reply. More to the fact, don’t place blame on a poker site for failures at the table but change it with results.

There are plenty of threads started that are quick to point fingers at the sites with all kinds of conspiracy theories that brings out all the rigtards, to protest in an effort to feel better about their failures. If that was not the intent (couldn’t be that far from it), then perhaps my comments was a tad harsh. Most players find a fair amount of success with some making a living at it. Then you have those on the other side that will look for any excuse besides looking in the mirror. If I put you the wrong category, my bad.

Always remain honest. Don't sell your integrity over a game behind money. There is alot of negative energy around poker players. Makes it very hard for the new wave to be excited about poker.

I think you'd have to at least be fair. If you look back the poker sites that tested that theory aren't around anymore. So you might get some quick cash by slacking but I think for longevity running good security, giving quick payouts, and having superior software will always win out. I don't know if that's got more to do with being honest or being a good business person.

You my friend, are awake. good luck finding anyone else on this site who is.
most people here, are to stupid to even investigate who owns the site's that they play on.

Did you know that the owner of the winning poker network WPN for ACR and Black Chip is the same man who owns the US Military of defense?
so you can trust that right? hahaha...
it's not like ACR has ever been caught and had to refund people either right?
https://www.beatthefish.com/acr-confirms-cheating-refunds/

I won a MDS (Million Dollar Sunday) seat in 2018 on ACR they didn't give it to me, they said they had to record of it, later I won a second Ticket for a seat worth $265.00 and got to play it, but the funny thing about it is this, everyone but 1 person sat out the entire time I played. I played for over an hr, and only seen 1 playable hand. I folded and folded hands like 23 43 53 52 62 82 93 J2 and so on, and every time I folded 90% of the time the other player showed me his cards. QQ AK AA KK A 10 KJ AJ. I folded until I was down to 1 and a half BB, the first time I got a Face card in over 33 minutes, I get K3 of coarse I get called by KQ and lose.
that was in 2018, but you can bet your last dollar, they didn't offer me anything for that game. can you even imagine how many hands I must have seen with everyone folding just as fast as the cards are being dealt?
Remember, you see way more hands online, than you do live, I bet I was folding 8 to 10 hands a minute for over an hr. without a single playable hand, and only ever seeing 4 and I did count them, 4 face cards in an hr until first break.

I think there may be some that did just that. Thall shall not steal. I would simply just make it a great site and keep it honest.

It is hard to know what I would do if I was faced with a no-consequence million dollars but I would hope if it wasn’t honest that I could say no but it would be hard. Also I don’t know enough about how poker sites are run to tell you if they are fair or not lol.

I like the way you structured this idea.

Every once in a while you find a number. For me I realized for where I was living at the time, I could be insanely happy with $60,000 a year. Double or triple it and id already feel like im becoming a have and shitting on have nots.

Also if you have enough love for the game you'd want to keep it fair and just spread the joy and chance to play and connect.

Never know till you got the finger on the button though.
