My longest break was about 10 months. I was very busy at my new job and didn't have time to play.
Studying the game is very important, especially for beginners and those with serious intentions and goals. For me, poker is just fun and that's why I don't spend time studying.

Play poker and learn, find a balance, allocate time for learning, and play. Practice is also beneficial.
