Are you offended by table chat online?

What do you think about the players who lose and start with offenses on the table? My take on this is that these individuals may be children; an adult does not do that sort of thing.

I don't get give any attention to the chat at these situations not because they offend me but i lose concentration sometimes and which leads to making mistakes and in tournaments this is not good.
Those who do get offended by it call the chat moderator of the site who then takes the necessary steps against the player. While some don't go to such extreme but just block the villain's chat so that doesn't disturb them anymore.:icon_scra

Even 'adults' act like children sometimes....

But, as others have said, just disable chat altogether. Ive never seen any reason for it. After years I don't even notice the chat box anymore.

Actually, I do not care. just wanted to know what you think about it, also find it very difficult to develop this type of player in the game.

This is most likely the effects of tilt or a bad mood does not need much to pay attention to it or better yet use it to increase his stack.

It's pretty funny at first, but it can get annoying if they keep doing it, and keep on bragging how "good" they are and how everyone else is a "fish"

Yes, it's true. There is also the situation that you are viewing a loose player all the time he engages showing any two cards. you are in the BB with A6o this player on sb. Table arrives folded; increases you pay 3x; The Flop (A3J) hits he bets half the pot; you pay, hitting a 6 on the turn he moved all-in and you pay quickly? Q river, and he shows AK,. You two pair and won, and he's calling you weak, offends ... Now tell me, you're watching the game poorly he's doing. Whose fault is it, who is playing badly? I believe he is.

He should be pleased to see that you're defending with A6o, & calling while way behind
What was your plan had he bet 1/2 pot on turn? how deep were effective stacks? (was in a pot-sized bet left on turn?). Were you calling flop but folding turn if facing a 2nd barrel? (say it was a harmless appearing '5' on turn or maybe the board pairs the '3'). If so, what's the plan for the river?

If effective stacks weren't that deep to begin the hand then I'd suggest that calling there OOP with A6o might not be good (w/o a plan). 'it depends'

My take on losing player going off in chat after getting donked... isn't necessarily a child. I believe there's a ton of emotionally immature people on the virtual tables. It is a fairly common occurrence.. especially in micro/low buyin Tournament play.
Guy who is going off in chat should not do this. He should try to look at the longterm & should realize he should want players to play poorly.

Everything fell dispute was blind, I was in the BB and he sb and he was making moves without direction, in my opinion. Only paid for it. he was showing any two cards, I realized it was a robbery and that the A6o played well against him, I would not go with the hand, takes place in the third round of betting. although there could have anything. how to hit my hand; I felt it was good pay him all-in. I do not remember how many blinds had just descrevir the game to illustrate how they run the offense. I play a bit, maybe I played wrong, but I heard that reading is a key part even though he showed me AK I believe he could have meant 72? On the topic agree with you.

Its ok to show emotions, but some players seem to think they can say whatever they like online.

I think this sort of recless abandon of the code of conduct comes from online computer games.

My feeling is that the poker rooms has become better at cleaning up the worst kinds of violent oral abuse, which is good IMO.

I actually find it quite amusing as it sometimes keeps me awake, hahaha.
Occasionally I like to make a constructive comment if someone keeps crying, playing out of position with bad cards. I also appreciate a hand well played even if that said player out plays me. Using polite manners such as saying well played or nice hand can sometomes be very productive and have found that on occasion it has helped my table image.
But on the whole, I think abbusive language should be reported and have said player banned.

actually i dont mind when people are chatting makes it interesting instead of just sitting there. Meet some funny people, some nice, some complete @holes...i prolly fall in that last category

I find the chat extremely entertaining. Just too boring when people are playing and not causing some drama besides. Not only do I love it when these players chirp up, I am all to in a hurry to join them in their anguish and chat it up as well.

That's why my chat is disabled most of the time. I'd much rather be listening to music or something else in the background.

I let my PT4 do all the data collection. I trust it way more than a person's words in a chat.

not offended at all i used to do it myself i'd flame my opponents for making terrible calls but then i just thought to myself, why am i advising them to not make bad calls? People are gunna call you a donk, fish and all sorts of other bs no matter how good your decision making is, don't come down to their level just ignore it and show class and don't let it affect your game.
