Hello people!! I wanted to know if you can combine Cash and Tournaments (I know you must use different strategies for both) or do you always have to choose a modality?
I would like to know if someone tried it or if someone does it how difficult it is.
Thank you so much!!

You can play online both at the same time. Depending on your country jurisdiction there may be table limits.
For example here in germany you are allowed a maximum number of 4 tables, means you can play 2 tables cash and 2 tables tournament, or any other combination that sums up to 4 tables.

In live games it will be a bit problematic to play tournament and cash at the same time. ;)

It's like eating a side dish with dessert, or combining classic sex with anal
in the end, a bad idea

You can. Only the more tables open, the less control the game becomes. And it doesn't matter if you have an open tournament or a cash table because every table is a different game and different people.

Personally the only time I ever do this is if the tournament is some sort of Depositor Freeroll or any tournament that doesn't really matter much to me & also doesn't require much focus either.

imo, it's a bad idea to be mixing MTT & cash game at the same time. It's two different types of thinking. I believe it keeps one from playing optimally in both when combined together (at least for me it does). When I'm playing it's either one or the other.

fwiw, some of the other responses to your question here so far might be due to a poor translation as they really don't seem to understand what the question is.

Hi.
I would not recommend this combination to you. Most likely, the results will be bad. But as an experiment, you can try it, just don't forget about your bankroll management.
Good luck.

I think yes, but it should be a maximum of 2-4 tables to understand and control all the tables

Yes, of course you can play as you want, it's your choice if you can be everywhere and can control the tables, then of course play both the main thing so that it's not hard for yourself, the rest doesn't matter

If you play MTT day the second day of the cache, then it is quite possible, but my opinion MTT is more interesting.

I don't usually play tournaments and cash games at the same time, I like to play multiple tournaments at the same time or multiple cash games tables.

I would not try playing them at the same time. If busted from a tournament, then switch to cash, but I am interested to see the responses.

It depends on the individual. I don't use a HUD and I play much better when I focus on one table at a time.

I actually do that some times when, for example, I'm on a slow tourney and I have plenty of time to spend in something, so I also play rush & cash, since it's a really quick game and I can always stop it between hands to focus again on my tourney when needed, but you have to be sure that you can do it without loosing focus, or you will start loosing on both games.
