Did you push your Bankroll since the moment you started?

I'm reducing alas... I'm very unlucky with the cards... I don't know what to do with it.

The bankroll has increased several times. I took off part of it on a card and lost the rest. It's a common thing for me to win and withdraw a little, and lose the rest. But mostly I create a bankroll from a freeroll, I rarely replenish it myself.

I had for sure more ups then downs, but not something huge, small player here with small earnings

Yes, I pushed my bankroll since I started a few times because I caught some good cards and that's why I bet everything.

I always have pushed my bankroll so many times, that's why I never have money in my accounts. But for this year I am changing my ways, I am learning how to hold my bankrolls now. It is working out well this year so far, I am doing well with my bankrolls later at the start of 2022. Just managed way better then I have ever, all money in my accounts now. Just had to change my ways to improve bankroll management, which I have now.

Since the time I started to play poker again about a month and a half ago, I am about breaking even.

I haven't, no, and wouldn't. I can feel when I can afford something and when I cannot. If I am not comfortable with something, I don't do it. My bankroll sits comfortably at a few hundred profit for last year, which was chaotic and wiill work to grow it to at least over $1000 or even a few grand this year. Even then I don't think I will withdraw anything unless it's an absolute emergency. Trading rules will always apply to my poker game. I would only risk 1-2% of my bankroll per investment with a narrow stop loss and wishful thinking past the take profit level.

I started with a dive and then after effords it started going up not straight, but with the natural ups and downs!

I used to overplay my bankroll and therefore ran into times I didn't have one. Over the last 15 years I have stay much more disciplined and have enjoyed being able to always have a healthy bankroll.

Having some skill obviously helps, but not having to need to win or afraid to lose cause my whole roll is on the line allows me to make better decisions and slowly grow my accounts.

I definitely have done a lot of playing at the top of whatever I have in my poker account. I keep thinking if I just win one good tournament I could establish a strong bankroll and then play more reasonably at that point. So far it hasn't worked and I have come to the conclusion after 15 years of playing this way that it most likely will never work. I still like poker and it's potential for advancement so I'm going to try another approach of playing sparingly with my bankroll and attempting to build it up slowly instead of laying it all on the line and swinging for the fences every game. I don't know if this will work either but I have to try something different or quit entirely. We will see. Wish me luck.

It's strong! Yes! I also often put everything at stake. Bankroll management is certainly reasonable, but how boring it is. I love risk, adrenaline and poker!

Too many times, until I faced the inconvenient truth that for me, Poker isn't an option of ever becoming wealthy.

Not at all, there where ups and downs. Most of the time downs, as I ended up loosing my bankroll like 3 times a week and then building it again and loosing it all over again, endless cycle. I need to learn good bankroll management and play within my limits. Still haven’t learned it though, as I really love to play.

I just play the freerolls so it doesnt really matter... I played cash games a while back and it didnt work out.,so i stopped.

Very good question. Bankroll management is an essential pillar for a successful poker and sports betting career.

I think anyone can make the mistake and lose the bankroll, but you really have to take it seriously and follow the management rules to be successful.

Slowly but surely this is happening. Although it happens the other way around

I started playing free-rolls on Pokerstars, and it took a while to even make the money bubble, but I studied Poker Video's and read a couple of book's and before I knew it I was making the money in them.
Not a lot, but free money is always sweeter, and I kept playing all the free-rolls I could, many with several thousand players. I managed to build my winnings up to around $30 Dollars and then tried some Micro Tournaments, buying in for a few Cents, even some as low as 10 Cent games.
It was around that time I thought of going to some live games and putting what I had learned into practice, hoping to make some real money, It was hard work and I did get some good results early on, otherwise I may have given it up all together, but wins and losses comes in swing's, like the saying "swings and roundabouts" but I soon realised the meaning of "Variance" and you have to accept that sometimes you cannot win no matter how hard you try.
But to push your bankroll to the limit is the worst thing you can do, being in control of your bankroll is the most important aspect when playing Poker, because you can afford a few downswings if you are in control and can wait it out until you start to win again.
I lost interest in free-rolls when I played Live games and didn't return to on-line Poker until the Covid Pandemic forced all the Pubs, Clubs and casinos to shut, but I thought if I am as good as I think I am, I should be able to win On-line like I did in live games.
Having just over $200 Dollars in my Pokerstars account I gave myself the challenge of doubling it while the Pandemic lasted, and started to play £1 Dollar buy-ins and the Cardschat free-rolls, I now have well over $600 Dollars.
It is possible because I proved it to myself, and even though I still prefer to play the free-rolls, because I only play On-line for fun (S**t's and Giggle's) I play the odd buy-in when I am in the right mood and frame of mind.
Behind it all though is Bankroll Management, Never buying in for more than 1% of your total bankroll, most of the time a lot less than 1%. I am in no hurry to "Get rich quick" because at my age I know there is no such thing, If there was, then people with these ideas would keep the secret to themselves, not sell it for a few Dollars On-line.

Hi Bro! At this point, I'm in the black. There were also negative moments, but there were not many of them, and I forgot about them. Positive moments give the mood for good luck.
