We have a thread for favourite hands, so why not cursed hands.

Is there any hand that you feel you are cursed with ? Hand that shows up, so you feel like its an cursed item ? Maybe a hand that you always lose with ? Or some other reasoning!

For me its the curse of final table 54, that hand just won't stop showing up ( sometimes even three times in a row ).

I think that there are no cursed hands, but that it depends on the player how he plays them.

When you have a low-card flush, the opponent will always have the Ace-high flush; it’s incredibly unlucky, but that’s part of poker.

AK suited for me, no question. On paper it looks amazing, but I swear I lose with it 90% of the time. Every time I get greedy and stack off with it, someone turns up with set of 3s or hits some trash runner-runner flush. It’s a complete trap hand for my stack lol.

Well, one time I got K7 offsuit three times in a row. I folded the first one and played the other two, but nothing hit on the board and I lost both times. 😅

For me, it has to be Pocket Jacks (JJ). 😂

JJ is probably the hand that has caused me the most emotional damage. When I see it, my first thought isn't “Great, a strong hand!”—it's “Here we go again…” 😅

The problem is that JJ is strong enough to get you into trouble but uncomfortable when an A, K, or Q hits the flop. And when you finally get all-in preflop, somehow the opponent always seems to find that magical overcard.

Of course, I know it's not actually cursed—variance and selective memory make certain hands feel much worse than they really are. But every poker player seems to have that one hand they don't trust anymore.

I feel like cursed hands would be pocket kings or pocket queens, the kind of hands that somehow always seem to lose to hands like Ax that shouldn't even be played. And somehow, the ace always seems to show up.

cursed hands. It's also gonna curse every time it shows up. Pocket kings. Absolutely hate them. Worst hand in poker, in my opinion. It's funny because when I get pocket jacks, I'm happy because I know what I gotta do and how to play them well. Like I say, kings, they just break your heart. If I never see a kings again, it'll be too soon.

When I started playing poker a few years ago, I probably would say QQ, but I wouldn't say that I have a cursed hand nowadays.

For me it’s 77. Not bad enough to fold, not good enough to feel happy with it. Somehow always ends with me staring at the river wondering what happened lol.

To be honest, I don't pay much attention to the cards. I mostly play against my opponents by analyzing their weakest points. But when it comes to the unluckiest hands, “AQs” is probably the most unfortunate hand in crucial moments.

For me, it's J♣️T♣️ 😂 It just looks so good, so full of potential, but I tend to get myself into the worst situations with it. At this point, I see it and know that something bad is about to happen 😅♠️
