My family enjoys my safety, when I have it. With poker you may work from home and avoid the daily threat of people running late for life, and or attempting to catch up.

I did not tell them I play poker. But my friends know and they are very interested in it. Lucky they do not think it is a luck based game so I can talk to them about it. Feels great to have friends who are interested in your Hobbys

My family is supportive. They know that I manage my bankroll and do not put our well being in danger (not paying bills, putting food on the table, clothes on our backs etc).

My extended family and siblings are all supportive. I am not sure if they fully understand or know that I play poker professionally but they know poker is a big part of my life.

My mom on the other hand... well she doesn't approve of gambling. Its odd because there was this one time that we all went to the casino as a family and she gave me $100 to play with. So I wonder if she is ok with it once a great while when she knows its just for fun.
