This is a difficult question. Because I no longer play small pairs although it also depends on where I sit at the table and who is still in the hand and so on. I have given up the habit of holding onto certain cards because any hand can be a winning hand, no matter how good or bad it is. But when it comes to probabilities, the chance of winning with AA is higher than with 22. But when I was new to poker I won several times against AA with 22.

I can't say about preferences with small pairs, they are all good in their own way in position and with a large stack (or enough working stack). But I'm luckier with 55.
