I think there are two group of aggressive players: the tight aggressive player and the loose aggressive player, the first one is aggressive with good cards and the second one is aggressive with a wide range of cards, most of the time the TAG is a regular player and the LAG is recreational players, not strictly but generally. I think the line between both group isn´t straight way, and one player can change and move to both side continuously, since the idea is not to be predictable like a certain style.

I find that new players generally aren't aggressive, but very hard to get off marginal hands. Never try to bluff them.

Yes, a bit of observational prowess can help us determine the playstyle of that player and better determine what those "aggressive" bets mean. Some possible routes:

-This is a Tight-Aggressive (TAG) player. These players will be playing fewer hands and value betting aggressively when they do have a strong holding. On average, this player will have better showdown value hands because they are tighter preflop.

-This is a Loose-Aggressive (LAG) player. They will be aggressively betting more frequently than a TAG because they are playing more hands preflop (when a TAG player would likely fold). These players are not necessarily maniacs playing any two cards though. A strong (winning) LAG player is probably utilizing aggression, position, stack size and factors like this while still playing hands with generally decent postflop playability. Perhaps a LAG will include to play hands like AJo or KTo when based on the situation a TAG (and especially a NIT) would surely fold.

-Donk or Donkey player; let us not forget that aggression alone doesn't mean they have a good strategy. Some players aggressively spew chips by aggressive bets and raising. If they are successful, then it is only because their table doesn't know how to properly adjust to this way of playing. A Donkey player will be betting when behind and doing weird plays that don't seem to make sense (like maybe check-raising on a 9-high board - I don't think a logical hand like AA or AK is doing this too often xD).

Lastly, we must try to figure out what the opponent(s) bets mean or intend. Are they betting for value? A bluff? A c-bet just because they are taught to do that, but not fully knowing why? Similarly, another tip to help determine the type of player is bet sizing. From a math perspective, bigger raises should mean the player is playing less hands (good stuff like AA and few or no bluffs) and more frequent bets that are on the smaller side typically means a wider range of hands (perhaps hands like 98s or A5s in addition to the stronger holdings). If someone is raising small but rarely or big and often, then I'd be more suspicious that this is a tricky opponent or someone who doesn't know what they are doing.

well newbie players would just bet b-blind or call any raise either they got K10o or AA probably. Because people at the beginning thinking this is the game of hiding your good hand and they guess raising is always exposing. If they get made hands so they would bet small, or just call no matter how much players limps into the pot. Would set a trap by just calling and they might call allin or shove on the riverr no matter what the board is. So they won't earn much or end up getting cracked by any random two pairs, staights maybe.

Agressive players can be skilled-great players and new-not so good players as well. The difference in my eyes between them is how they can control the parties, and how they can form an appropriate bet&pot sizes, and even be able to fold where aggression is changed over a reality-check and stronger hands from their opponents.

the novice player clearly when he sees a pair or an ace will want to move all in or something, since the aggressive player will raise the bet a little every time he comes with a good card

Hi.
In my opinion, it does not matter. An aggressive player, or a beginner, anyway. You have to be patient, wait for good situations and not play with junk. This is the main thing.
Good luck.

If you're newbie, then it's better to fold your hand, and to wait for a decent hand, and be carefully if you're against a very aggressive player, then its better never to try to buff him as someone already told you.
You need to be patient, and you need to wait for a good position, and for a good hand, then you will see how you going up time by time.

Look for a few more signs of whether or not the person is a 'regular' or a 'grinder'

If you are playing online, open up some other tables at the same limit, see if you spot that same player on multiple tables, if so, good chance they're a reg.

If you are playing live poker then look at how comfortable they are at the table, do they manage their chips well, stack and shuffle them easily or does everything feel a little unnatural, like a bit of a struggle (this can help you gauge how much experience they have)

An aggressive who is good usually bets preflop 2.2-3.5 bb mostly 2.2-2.5 in micros. He will also c bet the flop 80% or more and will bet turn as well. But youll be able to pin point his hand with his POSITION and how often he takes the pot. Usually Bad aggressive players will shove too often or to high. Bad aggressive players go from 3-5 bb on a preflop raise and reraise all in pre way too often not taking into consideration your position or how tight you are.

An aggressive player chooses more profitable spots for aggression. A beginner (or a weak player) can be identified by excessive and often inappropriate aggression

They are similar but newbies depend on luck but aggressive players depend on odd.s

When we use this term "agressive" seems like an emotional matter when the agressivity comes naturally in accord of our learning. Not because we are more alpha male than others, but because we know about the game and conciously we choose the right action and coincidently this action may be multiples times agressive.
