How do you guys manage bankroll. I feel like the downswings are too brutal for me. What is % of bankroll you use to enter a table?

It depends where you start. A good rule of thumb is to move to the next step once you have at least 100 BB in your bankroll.

500 buy ins is already a reasonable number.

It really depends on whether you are playing Cash Games or Tournaments (MTTs), but here is my strict rule of thumb for one table:
For Cash Games: Never put more than 1% to 2% of your total bankroll on a single table.

Hey yummy, I totally understand how you feel. Downswings can be brutal, especially if your bankroll isn't deep enough.
Personally, for cash games I like to keep at least 20–30 full buy-ins for the stake I'm playing, and many players prefer even more. For tournaments, I use much stricter bankroll management because the variance is much higher, often 100+ buy-ins.
Huntre, no disrespect, but 100 BB in a bankroll is only one buy-in. One cooler or bad beat and you're busted. Most cash game players recommend having at least 2,000–3,000 BB (20–30 buy-ins) to comfortably handle normal swings.
