Many beginners think bluffing is about courage. In reality, it’s about logic.
A good bluff tells a consistent story. It represents a believable hand and targets the right opponent. Bluffing a calling station rarely works. Bluffing a tight player? Much better.
Bluff less emotionally. Bluff more strategically.
What’s the best bluff you’ve ever pulled off?

It’s a mix. The math gives you the 'permission' to bluff (having the right equity or blockers), but the art is the 'execution'—the timing, the sizing, and the story you’re telling.

I think it depends a bit on the game mode we're in (online or live, as well as the specific type of game we're playing)...

I believe it's a bit of both... Counting possible matches and having good blockers makes our bluffs more efficient!

Spot on. Bluffing a calling station is easily one of the most expensive mistakes a player can make. It really is all about math, blockers, and finding the right opponent who is actually capable of folding.
My best bluffs are always the ones where I represent a very specific, missed draw on the river after triple-barreling against a tight player who caps their range. When the story makes perfect sense and you know they don't have the nuts, pulling the trigger feels great.

Bluffing is both art and mathematics. Math determines whether a bluff is profitable through factors like pot odds and fold equity, while the artistic side involves reading opponents and telling a believable story. The most successful bluffs combine solid mathematical reasoning with good psychological judgment.

Exploitable bluff, a departure from ideal mathematics in order to exploit the specific weaknesses of a specific person. How to bluff based on your image. Before bluffing, consider your table image.

The best bluffs aren't reckless—they're carefully constructed. Every action should tell a consistent story from preflop to river. A successful bluff isn't just about the cards you hold, but about how your line represents a strong hand.
One of the biggest lessons I've learned is that bluffing the wrong opponent can be expensive. Calling stations love to look you up, while disciplined players are much more capable of making tough folds.
The best bluff I ever pulled off wasn't the biggest pot it was the one where every piece of the puzzle made sense, and my opponent folded exactly the hand I expected.
