If u 3 bet preflop and KK 4 bets...easy fold on the flop

Isn't is better to fold preflop after the 4 bet then?

Indeed, it depends on the various circumstances of the place.
However, it will be difficult to judge calmly.

Sadly, no:(
This hand was right near the beginning of a $109 buyin on 888 (this was the third ticket I’ve won this year)
I don’t have the hand history but my fault I kept reraising all streets til all in
Guess I was hoping i was playing a lucky freeroll fish that won the ticket too;)

To get into such stupid situations less often, you need to learn how to fold small pairs from early position or after a raise !!!

I have been burned this way a few times. Very difficult to fold, you live and die by this scenario

Must be very deep play.
The very reason you want to see the flop with low pair is to get a set and go all in.
If you want to fold, you should fold pre-flop.

So there has to be extra ITM situation or extra read to make me fold a set on flop.

Nope , no chance I fold bottom set on such boad (33 on 39K board) .

Sometimes you'll encounter higher sets or opponents will outdrawn u , but in my opinion on long term , folding bottom set here is a losing play . Sets are way too powerfull , and if he had like AK or KQ or even aces , he's not folding , and I'm stacking him almost always .

And in situations where he has higher set , then he's stacking me , and I'm not mad about it or go to tilt , i just prepare and have adequate bankroll for the game I'm playing , so when those spots happens its not a biggie . Just move on and continue to play good poker (like going all in with bottom set :) )

Not in Hold'em, but in Omaha you need to think about it.:deal:

There are different situations where intuition will tell you that you are behind, the main thing is not to worry after because of your decisions. You can discard and keep the chips, or you can sometimes lose the stack and reassure yourself that you have made a mathematically correct decision and hope for a distance.

these hands are coolers.. its like folding kings preflop after one player shoves all in.. i dont think its profitable to fold a set on a dry board however if you have a feeling that villain has a bigger set then you might consider folding, but most of the time you are going to be ahead so folding isnt a smart decision in the long run.

With that board I would have to stay in the hand myself. I am sure I could get all of my opponents chips in the pot. lol
Can't always be right

There is no way to fold this, going with a small pair, what better flop can you expect other than a set? If you can fold this, then you have to flop a quad in order to continue.

Throwing a bottom set is not as difficult as throwing a full house without knowing exactly if your opponent has four of a kind.

you have bottom set on the flop . and your opponent has top set (which you dont know / see at the moment of course) and goes all in . how often will you be able to fold ? is it even possible ?

i am talking about dry boards . no flush or straight possibility

for example you have 3-3

flop comes : 3 - 9 - K rainbow . and opponent has 99 or KK

will you be able to get out of this ? :)

i think it is one of the hardest fold to make in poker

Why not ask instead, if people would be able to call, when they have 33, and the opponent has K9, AA, AK or a bluff? We dont know peoples cards while playing the hand, unless we are cheating, and people dont always have the nuts ;)

On a board of 3-9-K I am not folding bottom set. Probably why I can't make a profit lol

No.

It's brutal if you face set over set on such kind of boards, but I would never fold bottom set on flops like that.
