Sometimes my first instinct about a hand feels right, and other times it's completely wrong. I've started wondering whether experienced players trust their first read or always take extra time before making a decision. What's your approach?

I trust my first read, but I don't act on it blindly. It's more like a starting point than a final decision.

Before I put chips in, I take a few extra seconds to think about my opponent's range, stack sizes, position, betting pattern, and whether my first instinct actually makes sense. Sometimes that initial read is spot on, and other times slowing down saves me from making an expensive mistake.

For me, the best decisions come from combining instinct with logic rather than relying on either one alone.
