Sometimes I make a quick read on someone and then spend the rest of the session trying to prove myself right. 😂
Do you guys actually trust your first impression, or do you prefer to wait for more hands before making a decision?

In this case, you have two options: confirm your first impression, or get wrecked by it.

Usually, yes. My first read gives me a good starting point, but I always stay flexible and adjust based on how the player actually plays

It depends how obvious that read is. If someone jams the very first hand, say, then yes this is a maniac fish. 90% of the time, they confirm this very soon after.
