I remind myself that I had a good reason to fold preflop. If I didn't have a good reason to fold then maybe I shouldn't be playing.
I can remember one time when I sat at a table and noticed that all the junk
hands I was folding were smashing the flop and board. 83 24 it didn't matter. And not just winning the hand by a notch or hit a 3 on the board vs. AK that doesn't hit....
83 would flop 833 - A8 bets the heck out of this board
24 flops a wheel - Overpair bets the heck out of this board
It was just nonstop. Got to the point I would raise OOP with the confidence that the board would treat me well. And it did.....all day long. It was ridiculous!
Table was not happy and they let me know. They either busted or table changed to get out of my way. Some stuck around to find a spot to double-up through me knowing that my luck would run out.
