You don't speak for anyone other than yourself.
I never claimed otherwise. You're the one who said people share your opinion.
You represent nobody and you're not doing anyone a favour here (neither am I but oh well). If there are people who want to question or refute the free help I took the time to give then I'm sure they'll do just that. There isn't exactly a line forming or anything. There were a couple of people who've said the post was excellent however. 🙂
How many said that they thought the part of your post I question was excellent? That number seems to be zero.
A couple of people thinking the post was good overall or that certain parts were good does not mean they thought every part of it was.
If anyone other than you did want me to clarify or debate them on anything I said here then it would have been my pleasure to do so, just as I've done in many other topics around here for the better part of a year now. If they turn out to be quite the knob or spend a week insisting I search out poker experts for them so that they can take our word on something... ~after~ I state in very plain english that "I would never use anyone's reputation or results to justify or discredit any advice when it comes to poker"... then well that's different.
So, you've resorted to calling me names now. It seems you aren't willing to let others judge the validity or strength of your opinion on its own merits, and have decided to resort to name-calling because I don't agree with you.
What's more, withholding clarification from me also withholds it from others who would, in you opinion, benefit. Very big of you.
As for not using anyone's reputation or results to justify your opinion, as I pointed out before in equally plain English, you did what you say you never would when attempted to strengthen your position by saying some fish disagree.
If there are any recognized players who think as you do, simply point out some and I will no longer be able to claim I've never seen any. Or show the reasoning behind your advice so that even if I disagree, I'll have to admit there is enough reasoning behind it for other people to at least consider it. Either way, you'll "win" this discussion.
Since most people aren't like that, saying I have nothing to offer anyone who won't accept it unthinkingly is - like just about everything else you've been claiming in this topic - entirely false.
This is another straw man. You can't show me where I said you have nothing to offer because I haven't said so. Curious that you go on to say I'm not reading what I reply to when you're not replying to what I said.
But hey some people rather enjoy being wrong. Whatever floats your boat.
At least one person seems to enjoy refusing to demonstrate that his boat does float. Maybe that's because it doesn't.
