a) You don't need a HUD to play online poker
b) If you're playing with some freeroll winnings, you might want to take a look at some BRM suggestions (10nl is probably way too high to be playing)

There are some advantages of playing without HUD.

1. You pay more attention to players you play with
2. You write notes when you see some weird lines. Otherwise with HUD you can get lazy and rely heavily on HUD

3. You get more prepared to live play

That being said even if you don't use a HUD it is very valuable to have a tracker which tracks your hands played to analyze your own game off the table.

HUDS have no advantage IMO because players can change their game at any moment. Part of Poker is LUCK as much as skill. So work on your game and pay attention at the table. It's all about Position and Opportunity to Act First.

If you don't use a HUD when playing poker ... then you should be more focused than normal ... to be aware of how your opponents play at your table ...! and I recommend that if you can see Lex valdhauz he is a pokerstar pro who streams on twith ... this player plays at the highest level and doesn't use any HUD ... admirable ..!

I believe that HUD is for who plays several screens, if you play up to 4 I do not see need to play with HUD, you can make notes about the opponents you are facing.
