How wide should we really defend BB vs BTN at 100bb?

I've been looking more closely at BB vs BTN spots at 100bb, and I'm still trying to understand how wide we should actually be defending.
BTN can open pretty wide, but sometimes the BB calling range in GTO looks much wider than what feels comfortable in practice.

One hand that really made me think about this was T2s — my little “Bronson” hand 😂.

At first glance, T2s looks like an easy fold, but seeing it appear in BB defending ranges made me wonder how much of the decision comes from the price we're getting versus the actual playability of the hand.

Do you guys generally follow the solver ranges pretty closely here, or do you adjust BB defense quite a bit based on the BTN player's tendencies?
I'm particularly interested in how you think about the bottom of the BB defending range. Where do you personally draw the line, and why?

The range for depending our BB depend not only on the position of the player opening but also on the opening size used and the site of the ante. In a non-ante cash game, where BTN open to 2,5BB, we should actually not defend all that wide. Not going to check in the solver but probably only around 40%. But in an MTT with a big ante, where BTN min-raise, we should defend much wider, maybe even close to any two. If there is a field caller, we should defend less and not more, as many people tend to think.

An interesting point made recently by Carrot Corner is, that new players should underdefend, because postflop play is far more difficult for the out of position player. Like maybe the preflop raiser is supposed to C-bet small with 95% of range, which is very easy to learn and execute. But BB is supposed to continue on the flop with a complex mix of check-call, check-fold, check-raise and sometimes even leads. And if we dont get this right, we are making mistakes, which cost more EV than the slight mistake of folding a marginal hand preflop.

Tournament GTO will guide you toward wide blind defence based on the price you are getting which is a good idea but you need to temper this with:
How wide is villain opening? If they are opening tighter than GTO (most likely) you should fold more often than GTO.
What is you expectation? Defending T2s at 100b has an expectation of ~0.5BB on average (if played perfectly), in soft games do you need to be fighting for that when you are getting much more proftiable spots at other times?
How skilled and confident are you? T2s is all well and good as a defend if you know how to play it well post flop, otherwise it will just cost you chips.
On a 7h9d3c what are you doing with Td2d when villain cbets 7 into 6.5? What if you hold Td3d?
