One of the hardest skills in poker is knowing when to stop.
Playing too long—especially when tired or frustrated—can lead to poor decisions.
Setting win/loss limits or time limits can help protect your bankroll.
Do you have a rule for ending your sessions?

This is very important... I can't stop when I determine, and that's my failure.

Yes, I try to follow a few rules for ending sessions.

If I notice frustration, loss of focus, or emotional decisions creeping in, I usually stop.
For cash games, I sometimes use time limits or mental fatigue as the cutoff point.

In MTTs it’s harder because tournaments can run very long, but I still avoid registering new events when tired.

Knowing when to quit is an important skill — protecting mental energy is just as important as protecting bankroll.
