I see a lot of people trivializing poker as a game of chance... But most people don't know that poker involves strategy, reading, the ability to induce the opponent, among others... I want to learn more and more and become an excellent professional
You’re right most people only see the luck, not the skill. Poker takes strategy, discipline, and understanding people. If you keep studying and getting experience, you can definitely grow into a strong player.tiago sikorski said:I see a lot of people trivializing poker as a game of chance... Yes, it doesn't stop having a percentage, especially when you go “all-in” pre-flop... but then comes the real form of the strategy, trying to read/understand your opponent to know who has the advantage, or simply folding and not risking your life in the tournament because you depend on luck!!!!dudu 3333 said:Ok... Mas muitas vezes o pôquer envolve muita sorte, não é?
Mas concordo contigo que o poker também é estratégia, mano.
If you allow me... I would say that good players increase their chances of winning without depending too much on luck, it's no wonder that we see several players winning several important tournaments, in other words, I would say 80% skill and 20% luckbowserdon said:O pôquer é uma combinação de sorte e habilidade, cuja porcentagem ninguém sabe ao certo; bons jogadores têm mais sorte do que jogadores ruins.
Thank you very much, I know that the path is not easy, especially without family support... but I'll get there!!Mantinhoo said:Concordo, quem acha que pôquer é só sorte geralmente não entende a profundidade do jogo. A habilidade se mostra no longo prazo: estratégia, disciplina, leitura dos oponentes e controle emocional são fundamentais. Boa sorte na sua jornada para se tornar um profissional!

You may wish to break down the thoughts behind---"too many times". we want to be very careful that we are not increasing the value of outcomes beyond their true value.dudu 3333 said:Ok... But too many times poker has a Lot of Luck involved right?
But i agree with you that poker is strategy too bro
