If you have a massive open-ended straight flush draw on the flop but miss completely on the turn, do you keep betting or give up and check?
What do you mean massive? Are some open-ended draws bigger than others? Open-ended is open-ended, no?
To answer the question though, it depends on other factors. If I'm the PFR in position I am probably barrelling this all day, but of course it might matter who Villain is or the chances of a flush going on. Fish will 100% call us down with 2-pair here so if it comes in we can stack!! Plus, if there is a flush draw and that also busts on river, we can
bluff the hell out of this since our 3 street barreling says value! value! value! and fish was likely hanging on with flush or straight draw himself.
If I'm out of position and I'm the PFR I will often blocker bet this for pot control and if I get called decide whether to barrel or not on turn.
If I'm out of position and NOT PFR I am not likely to donk unless stacks or exploitable Villain tendencies say otherwise.
