We’ve all seen players who seem to win every hand.
But in most cases, it’s not luck—it’s either short-term variance or better decision-making.
Over time, skill always beats luck in poker.
Do you believe in “lucky players,” or just variance?

It’s pure luck, sorry, it’s akin to a game of slots. You basically cannot win without luck. If you get the cards then you can win. You cannot win without a run of luck.

I can understand the variance thing or maybe not. But you can play 100 tournaments or 1000 tournaments whether you're an amateur or professional, without luck you won't win any of them no matter how well you play. salutes
