Position can make a big difference. I always feel more comfortable playing hands in late position.

Position can make a big difference in poker. Playing from the button gives you more information about your opponents. Do you change your starting hands depending on your position?

Absolutely, position is everything in poker.

On the button you can play like 40%+ of hands because you act last and control the pot. In early position I play very tight, only premiums like AK, AQ, big pairs. In late position I open much wider with suited connectors, small pairs, suited aces.

The info advantage is huge - you see if they check, bet small, etc before you act. It also makes bluffing easier.

If you're playing same range from all positions you're losing a lot of value.

Position is a huge factor in your poker success.

When you play in position you get to go last which is a huge advantage.

This is why you generally should not open limp, because when you open limp you are probably going to be playing out of position, without initiative. Which is kinda like telling math you dont believe in it.

Definitely a major advantage when choosing your game strategy—and especially for bluffs! 🤣🤣🤣
