Many players think small stakes don’t matter—but that’s where habits are built.
If you develop bad habits at low stakes, they will follow you when you move up. Discipline and solid strategy should start early.
Play every hand like it matters—because it does.
Do you take small stakes seriously?

Yes, I do. Small stakes are where you learn good habits and discipline. If you play lazy at low stakes, it’s hard to fix later when the games get tougher.

This is true. But if its a question of boredom and not caring about XX amount of money, maybe you should also ask yourself, why you are playing such low stakes? Maybe you could find some money from outside poker, that would allow you play the stakes, you actually want to play? Either recreationally (a budget) or in an attempt to make money (a bankroll). This is definitely something worth considering, if you find yourself playing poorly, because the stakes are to low.

100% solid strategy should be established at lower stakes and when it is the player should move up to a stake that allows the skill to beat the rake.
