Every recreational player slowplays. Every single one. They flop a set, check it down, and then act surprised when the flush gets there on the river.
The math is simple: you make more money by building the pot when you're ahead than by trying to be clever. Your opponents are not folding as much as you think they are. They want to call. Let them.
Fast play your monsters. Save the traps for when you actually have a read.
Am I wrong?

It also depends on the situation. I always say that poker is primarily a game of chance. I only play slowly if there is no straight or flush threat on the flop. If there is, I raise definitely.

If you have a strong hand, you should usually bet. Slowplaying too much costs money.

I think it all depends on the position and the opponent you're playing against. It all depends on the situation.

I agree with you completely. Sometimes there are exceptions but strong hands should generally be played.
