It varies. Preflop AA, KK, QQ are all extremely strong and if someone shoves pre it is very rare I will fold these. Post flop though you have to read the board and account for various other hands like two pair, trips etc. If there are three, four suits the same hands like aces become fairly meaningless if you do not hold one of these suits.

Your bet should depend on several factors. Your position, the stage of the tournament, its format, how your opponents are playing, the size of your stack, the situation at the table. If you bet based only on the strength of your hand, you will have poor results.Johnvaka said:
