tips n tricks for mid high stakes players
been playing poker for a good while now and still feel like im losing money in spots i dont even notice
i know the basic stuff so not really looking for play tighter or dont tilt type advice
more wondering what little leaks you guys found in your own game
mine is probably calling rivers when i already kinda know im beat. ill sit there thinking hes got it and then call anyway for some reason
also miss value bets sometimes because i dont wanna get raised. play too many hands out of position. sometimes stay in games way too long when i probably should just leave
just wondering what other peoples leaks were when they got to this sort of level
was there anything you found that was costing you way more than you thought
and how did you actually notice it

One that I tightened up is having 2-pair on a wet board. 2-pair on a wet board very often loses to straights. Watch out when we have connected (or near connected) cards and flop 2-pair. If we have J9 and the flop is J98, Tx is open-ended here. This is dangerous. When we have 2-pair it will be extremely rare that anything better than what we have will fold. Perhaps a straight might fold if the board runs out hearts, and even then might not. That's about it.

So don't get married to your 2-pair flop when the board gets wet and gross.
