You may miss your draw on the river, but your opponent has called the flop and turn and still doesn’t look too happy about it.

You fire again and they fold a weak pair, or they call and you’ve just burned another bet.

Would you fire the third barrel?

I sometimes find the 3rd barrel, but I think I need to work on what cards, types of cards are better to fire on

Same here. I think A or K rivers are often easier to fire when they favor our range, especially with the right blocker. I’m still working on spotting those cards myself.

Depends on the river card and Villain tendencies but I do it pretty often.

Yeah, I agree it depends a lot on the river and Villain. I’m still learning to read those tendencies properly before deciding whether that third barrel is worth it.

In my opinion, this is an aggressive style. One of the key things is pot control. You are a semi-bluff. If you made small bets all streets and a great card comes along for a big bluff, that's a good time.
But if you made big bets all streets and missed on the river, you have dug yourself a deep grave. Sometimes the opponent also chases the draw and misses.

Remember folks, even a hardcore calling station will fold the river with air. ; )

It depends on the run out and the villain, but in general, when the river is a good scare card and they have a capped range, I love a third barrel. If the river doesn't change much and they're showing some stickiness, I'm very happy to just give up. 😂 Don't want to be donating to every missed draw, you know? 🃏

It'll depend on the river. If it's a blank, I'll bet; if it's one that connects a lot of hands, I'll fold.

I've been in situations like this before and lost because the villain had a strong hand right from the flop. Especially with low pairs. Sometimes we raise the bet and only one player calls. Then his hand remains hidden. When an A or K shows up, that's when we get carried away, thinking our bluff has worked.
