What is one poker mistake you used to make regularly that you eventually stopped making?
For me, I think avoiding unnecessary hands and being more patient has made a big difference. Curious to hear what mistake others learned from.

I agree with you, I did that too but there is one thing I stopped doing and it improved my game considerably was to stop playing angry after losing a hand with a bad beat.

I think most people are going to be shocked when they hear it, but the most important thing I did that improved my game incredibly was working on my mindset. We all know that tilt can causes us to do things that we don't really want to normally do: play more hands, seek revenge on a player. When I got my mindset properly right, my game jumped to another level because the little things that would come into my game when my mind wasn't right disappear, and all those little mistakes came up to be a huge amount. So for me, yeah, mindset, meditation before the game, meditation after the game, you know, listening to meditation music most days when I'm playing. But it also helped me in my personal life drastically. So I would highly recommend everyone who really wants to play the game seriously, work on your mindset. Get some courses or classes on mellowing out and everything. You might be shocked at how much of a difference that could be.
