what is the worst poker hand?

For me - AK. Initially, there are high hopes for this hand, but I often lose a lot.

I think its widely known that 2 7 off suit is the worst starting hand, lowest cards, cant make a flush or straight with your 2 cards.

7 2 off, doesn't connect and are very low. Sometimes I defend my BB with trash cards because the raiser will never know you got that trash, but only when very deep.
 
If you think, is there any bad starting had, then here is a picture which may convince you otherwise:

Okay, it is not so frequent.

But at the same time it is instructive why you should not limp. (I only played because I was the big blind and nobody raised.)

Very good question.

I guess he thought I have Ax hand too.
By the way, I'm very surprised that he went all in at all, otherwise I wouldn't have won anything.

7-2 unsuited is the worst hand in poker as far as we know but sometimes the cards in hand should be taken as 'good' or 'bad' depending on table position or tournament progress.
 
I have also noticed that not hand is a bad hand because you can win with any 2 cards..you can even crack AA with 27
 
Overall, it's 7-2, but KJ, according to Daniel Negreanu, are the cards that cause players to lose the most money.
 
Hypothetically the worst thing that could happen to me is having AA lose on the bubble against 7 2😆😆😆
 
yes "officially" 7-2 off suite is the worst hand

however ....(and i have been talking about this before ) there is a paradoxon . when you have 7-2 and go all in preflop against lets say 3-2 then you are favorite percentage wise

isnt this crazy 😛
 
7-2 of course and the AA , because it usually is a ,,end of the road ,,...how can fold AA 🙂

Your loss then. That kind of cards are so perfect to eliminate others and so on ...
 
I hate 10-2, and I dont like A with 2-9. if I get an ace, I'm afraid my opponent has a bigger kicker. I often fell this way, which is why I often throw in tournaments.
