I'll start: Only call what you see, not what you want to see.
Couldn't agree more. Bad habits are a lurking danger, playing smart leads to better results, but it all comes down to putting in the work.Roller said:Don't let the result judge the decision.
You can make the right play and lose, or make the wrong play and win.
If you only look at the outcome, you'll learn the wrong lessons and stunt your improvement.
Don't confuse running good with playing good, 80% of players do this.

@ne0npipe: "Calling what you want to see" is the ultimate trap. Wishing an opponent is bluffing or hoping the river miraculously saves you is the fastest way to bleed chips. Staying 100% objective is tough but necessary.ne0npipe said:I'll start: Only call what you see, not what you want to see.
Result-oriented thinking is easily what holds most players back. It’s so easy to mistake a lucky run for good play, or to doubt a perfect decision just because of a bad beat. Focusing strictly on the quality of the decision rather than the outcome is the only way to stay sane in this game!Roller said:Don't let the result judge the decision.

Many players limp any weak hand in the SB, but in the long run the losses add up.Acechador said:One poker rule I always stand by: Never play a hand just because you already invested chips. Protecting your bankroll and making the right fold is part of winning poker.
for me is not too frustated when your premium cards lose, just patience relax a bit and move to next handne0npipe said:I'll start: Only call what you see, not what you want to see.
Sometimes a sneaky limp can be better, but raising or folding should be the default.TeUnit said:Open limping is the worst play in all of poker.
Both tight and loose players can be exploited. It’s about adjusting and finding the right balance for each table.LUKADONCICMVP said:exploit the nits easy chips overall
