Let's talk about the dreaded "C-bet 100% of the time" mistake. On what board textures are you completely checking back your entire range?

I place a lot of C-bets in micro bets and whether I bet on a particular table depends on my position — it matters whether I'm from UTG or Button, as I have a much wider range in the latter.

This is too broad a question to answer clearly.

Positions are extremely important when considering our c-bet frequency.

I never check back my entire range. If I flop the nuts, then I bet for value, unless I have total board lock like JJ on JJ2 rainbow, where I might check as a slowplay. But I dont check to "protect my checking range", since I dont think, this is nessesary in low stakes online tournaments. I C-bet less out of position, against multible opponents and on wet board. For instance I would normally check :as4::ah4: on :jd4::10d4::8c4:, because this is a pretty terrible board, and I want to try to get to a cheap showdown with my overpair. But if I have something, that connects well with the board, like for instance :qh4::9h4: , :10s4::10c4: or :kd4::qd4:, then I still bet.

i'm checking back my entire range on low, heavily connected boards like 6-5-4 monotone or 7-6-5 two-tone, especially when I'm the pre-flop aggressor in position. these textures heavily favor the caller's defending range.

I think that I tend to cbet too much.
I'm generally not comfortable cbetting low flops against BB.

I mainly avoid betting on a short stack, where I have not hit the board at all nor do I have any draw opportunities.
BS on semi, or FT I have close to 100% hitting medium stacks.

We "check back" boards when we do not have the nut advantage or range advantage but we are seldom "checking back" our entire range. The reason we do not "check back" our entire range is the term "check back" refers to being in position and we can bet some part of our range just based on having position on all boards. The % of range is what changes on each board.

We check range when OOP.

And only if we think, the player(s) behind us are very strong and might exploit us, if we dont. Which is honestly rarely if ever the case in the games, most of us play. Only solvers can exploit other solvers with 100% perfection. Humans will always "suffer" from never quite knowing, what their opponents are actually doing.

So when for instance we check out of position, they will rarely know, that now they can remove some strong hands from our range and relentless bluff us. For them to do this, they would need to have seen us bet in another similar situation before and be able to remember this. Which is difficult, when they are playing 10 tables at a time, as most good players do online.

I c-bet when I have a range advantage or can get value from worse hands. I check back when the board favors my opponent’s range or when I want to control the pot and realize my equity
