When should you stop chasing flush & straight draws on the turn??

A good rule is: stop chasing a flush or straight draw on the turn when the price you’re getting isn’t worth the chance of hitting.
Flush draw: Usually 9 outs, about 19.6% to hit on the river.
Open-ended straight draw: Usually 8 outs, about 17.4%.
If your opponent bets a large amount and you don’t have enough pot odds, folding is usually correct.
Also be careful when your draw may not be clean for example, a flush card could give your opponent a higher flush.
Consider implied odds if you expect to win additional chips when you hit.
Simple shortcut: On the turn, multiply your outs by about 2 to estimate your percentage chance of hitting on the river. Then compare that percentage with the price of the call.
