You don't always need a very strong hand to win chips.
Often, just playing solid with basic hands (even, A high, etc.) and avoiding mistakes is already enough to make a profit against weaker players.

this is so true, making your opponent thinking you are strong is part of the game

Often, simply playing solid and sticking to basic fundamentals like valuing decent hands such as Ace-high and avoiding unnecessary mistakes is enough to stay profitable against weaker players, since they tend to make bigger errors that you can capitalize on without needing overly complex strategies.

That’s a solid point. Consistency and disciplane usually beat flashy plays , especially against weaker opponents. It’s easy to over complicated things, but just minimizing errors and applying steady pressure can be more profitable even with A’s or k’s. ( with a good kicker ;))

Playing weaker hands is more viable when you have an information advantage. In late position (such as the button), you can see what others do first. That allows you to steal blinds or control the size of the pot.

Yes, but generally you have to vary your game. I like to connect straights and flush draws, although if I have a big hand in a bubble or a final board, that's where I'll definitely put my chips in.

Yeah it’s definitely good to know your opponent and how they play. Some play super straight forward and when they miss they check check check. So we should try to be aggressive in these spots, it’s a good bluffing spot here, we can take away the pot without having a hand. If they raise we can just fold easy.

It's not about randomly playing weak hands, it's about understanding when and why to play
If you only play strong hands, you will become predictable in the long run and not have much action when you actually have them. On the other hand, playing too many weak hands without a plan leads to losses
The key is balance: selectively playing weaker hands with good position, reading your opponent well.

A weak hand preflop can become very strong after the flop.

Depends on the player. Some take chances and play looser than others.
