Great question OP. I have all manner of card themed clothing, not that I always wear it though, sometimes I like to wear suits other times I just go smart casual but I see many players who look like they have just arrived from work. As long as you feel good that is all that matters.
But seriously, I look great dressed impeccably like a gentleman; formal attire really boosts my self-esteem, haha! 👌 That said, it depends on my mood. Sometimes you need light, comfortable clothes to feel at ease, but other times you're like a lion lurking—and then it doesn't matter if the clothes are comfortable or not. I can be an unpleasant presence at the table whenever I want - not out of disrespect or unethical behavior, but simply because of an intimidating and focused posture, an imposing and dominant presence. It's cool when you encounter opponents like that... or at least I imagine — I've never met a real one. The closest I've ever seen to that style was Daniel Negreanu, although I've never played live against an opponent as annoying as me. 🤣
People should dress in the manner that makes them feel good. For me that usually means casual, conservative, and traditional skirts, jeans, or dresses. For someone else it might mean a hoodie and sweats, coat and tie, jeans and t-shirt, or something else. 🙂Houbi37 said:
