I wonder if that would even come close to making up for how overpriced everything is in Las Vegas now.

More info:

"Three hotels in Las Vegas are now accepting the Canadian dollar at equivalent value to the American dollar for select gaming, hotel, and drink services.

Circa Resort and Casino, the D Las Vegas, and Golden Gate Hotel and Casino will participate in the ‘At Par’ program until Aug. 31. The goal is to remove financial barriers for Canadians wanting to travel to Vegas.

Canadians will also be able to gamble at par by redeeming up to $500 in slot promotional play, according to the hotels."

Booking with Expedia:

1769180928683

Booking directly with the hotel:

1769181069041

So you save about $70 booking directly with the hotel. Not bad. Good deal for those who are going. But most Canadians still won't be going for obvious reasons.

You beat me to it, and gave a much more detailed answer than I would have provided. 🙂

I think that it is a wonderful idea and shows that they really do value their customers. I hope that a lot many of our neighbors to the north take advantage of this "comp". 🙂

Way to late ..just stop all the ridiculous fees and paying for absolutely everything and anything ..bring back the old Vegas where individual people mattered and were treated THAT WAY

going to Canada soon to play at the playground poker club. May need to convert 2K into Canadian so i can get in on the par swap in Vegas. LOL

Actually if Vegas remembered what made it great and why people went would be even better. Nothing worse that feeling all they want it your cash and leave ASAP anymore.

USA treats Canadians like garbage and most poker players from here have taken the country off the list ,pretty much going anywhere but there ,Vegas has wrecked itself and if sweeping changes don't happen soon that place is going to be an after thought .
