AKs vs QQ : Which one do you prefer to have?

This type of choice is always pre-flop, because after the flop each round is a story and there is no preference.
Preflop I will always prefer QQ

Personally, when I have QQ, an A comes right on the flop, when I have AK, the pair of queens wins.
So for me, when I manage to win, any one of them makes me happy.

With Queens you would already have a strong pair and could win the pot. AK is also a good hand but you have no pair yet.That said, I prefer QQ

For cash game of course i will have a pair of queen, but I will wait, read my position on the table and the opponents, and I may give them the option to raise if they raise, and I will call, and then the flop and the opponents' reaction will decide what to do next.
But AK will be stronger than QQ, especially in slow or freezeout tournaments.

Queens are a slight favourite, but as usual, if you have them, the ace will flop or worse you will be rivered. If on the other hand you have AK, expect a 5 rag run out.

QQ’s lowest EV in the (small blind 9-max) and (big blind 6-max) is higher than AK’s EV in any position.
I have lost more hands with AK than QQ so is there any wonder which I prefer?

Generally prefer QQ, but against certain tight opponents, AKs will have more equity you have a decent chance of an over card or two if you are committed pre-flop.

So I got knocked out of the tournament today... The ladies couldn't resist the AK... but fish was just playing for luck there, it's obvious that he didn't understand what he was doing, there was no call on the board, but fish put it on and the king just hit him with a river... it was just lucky, because even on the board that was 88, there were more chances, the numbers were on the table, and the chances of a straight were closer to winning against my QQ than AK... But luck is a fickle lady((

I'm curious. Despite the fact that 888 does not work in Belarus, I still often see Belarusian players at the tables. Are these players who are just abroad or are they Belarusians who live in Belarus and play through a VPN?

Since QQ is the better starting hand 8 days a week I prefer the ladies to a big drawing hand like Big Slick.
