i never play mobile, only desktop (or live with friends sometimes). In my oppinion, mobile would be too relaxed, casual, no focus at all

For me, it's better on my laptop; the screen on my phone is too small, I don't think I can concentrate as much.

I've played on both platforms and I concentrate better playing on a computer. When I play on my phone, I'm usually watching TV, which makes it hard to focus.

I definitely prefer playing on a computer, mainly because I like playing multiple tables at the same time, and that’s not really possible on a phone.

It depends on the type of game and the player's goals, as both platforms offer different experiences. The large screen, high-quality graphics and sound help you fully immerse yourself in the gameplay, blocking out external distractions. The keyboard and mouse provide high precision, which is critical in competitive gaming, which requires maximum concentration.

I didn't notice a difference.
If you take a game/tournament seriously, then I don't think the device matters.

Do you feel more focused playing on desktop or mobile?

For most players, desktop wins when it comes to focus. A larger screen, better multitabling, and fewer distractions make it easier to stay locked in and make sharp decisions.

Mobile, though, has its own appeal. It’s convenient, flexible, and perfect for quick session but it can also invite distractions and limit how much information you can process at once.

Desktop = control, clarity, and deep focus
Mobile = convenience, speed, and flexibility

At the end of the day, your best setup is the one where you can stay disciplined and fully engaged.

In my case, I prefer playing on the computer; eliminating distractions is essential for a successful game. But I also play on my smartphone when I can't avoid it.

On mobile it feels more casual and easier to get distracted, while on desktop I tend to take things more seriously.

I find it difficult to play on my phone. I've had the experience of being in important tournaments and having to stop playing to answer a message.

I mostly play on my laptop, and whenever I am grinding multiple tables across different poker clients, I like to hook it up to my big 34-inch monitor. It just makes everything feel more organized and easier to follow.

On top of that, I usually have YouTube running in the background, watching stuff about finance, markets or poker streams. It kind of puts me in the zone and helps me stay engaged without getting distracted.

The funny thing is, when I am playing on that big screen setup, I m actually really disciplined. I take my time, think through decisions and stick to solid strategy. But when I am out somewhere and playing on my phone, its a completely different story.
I get impatient, start playing weak hands and make bad decisions way more often, which usually ends in losses.

Honestly, I think it just comes down to habit. Over the past 5-7 year, I have trained myself to focus properly at my desk, but I havent built that same level of discipline on my phone.
