Does anyone else struggle to stay awake during evening games....I kinda doze off during these night sessions -
How do you guys stay sharp and fight off the fatigue when you’re deep in a late-night grind? Do you rely on caffeine, music, or just standing up between hands?....

Yeah, I’ve had this happen during late sessions too. Once I start feeling properly sleepy, I’d rather take a break than force myself to keep playing. Standing up, getting some water and walking around helps me reset, but if I’m still struggling to stay awake, I’m done. Tired decisions can get expensive pretty quickly.

Yes I was doing well so far and slept off. I woke up pained cause I didn't get anything because I slept off

Guilty. I hate sleeping in and blinding out on tournaments also. Bad for that

Well, it has happened to me that I register for tournaments and when I wake up, it's already the next day and it's also happened to me that I'm playing a tournament and suddenly I fall asleep in stages and I realize that blind levels have passed and that I'm getting out of my chair.

I always take a nap when I know I’m going to have a long session... Caffeine is a trapI wouldn't recommend it...because after 3 or 4 hours you’ll crash and end up even more tired.

Yes,More often Its detrimental for health but no option to be left else playing

I'd like to say no, but the reality is that as I'm getting older I sometimes struggle to stay awake/sharp/play close to my A game... especially during night sessions, that for some reason went way longer than scheduled * it happens when grinding mtts... About the solutions, I'm doing the usual too - extra coffees and some short walks during the 5-6 minutes breaks and/or some other 'easy' activities that gets the blood flowing and can boost energy and help prevent mental fatigue...

yes big long tournaments are hard that is why some rooms have 2 days tournaments now
