Perhaps due to shyness, or simply because I’ve grown accustomed to not frequenting live poker rooms, I have always preferred playing online.
I feel more at ease; facial expressions and gestures don't matter during the game since players cannot see one another.
online poker offers anonymity, as players are behind a screen, eliminating the possibility of reading visual cues or body language.
Players can focus more on strategy without the distraction of verbal expressions.

Online poker is massively more convenient than live poker. Games run 24 hours (although not all games), you can play for small amounts of money, if you want to, you dont need to travel to the casino, and you can play from your bed or couch dressed in underwear.

I prefer live games; the same people come to live games, you quickly notice everyone's playing style and get to know people fast, so the atmosphere at the table is friendly.

I've never played live Poker, but these facial expressions aren't always important, each person is unique and has their own expressions, there's no way to guess what they're thinking, it's all guesswork.

I prefer online poker. It's more convenient, I can play whenever I want, and I like being able to focus purely on the strategy without worrying about physical tells. I still enjoy live poker occasionally, but online is definitely where I feel most comfortable and play my best.

How would you KNOW this... when you haven't even played live poker?

Ok, tell me how you would manage to read my expressions if every time I played a hand I put on sunglasses and covered myself with a coat, just like the guy in the photo below.

You’re not like that all the time... And ofc the body language can be interpreted by other parts of body, not only the face.
