Personally, I think making a bad call hurts more because you know you could have avoided it. With a bad beat, sometimes there's nothing you can do. What about you guys?
 
I agree with you - a bad call hurts more coz I could have changed the outcome - but with a bad beat it's out of my control...

Bad call and it's not even close personally. Can only control what you can control.

Bad call. When it's a bad beat, its just variance. A bad call is all my mistake. Nothing worse than dumping a bunch of chips to a player who hasn't bluffed all tourney because u think he's bluffing. At low stakes, they always have it. Now, in a cc freeroll - they are always bluffing!

Bad call it's not close and even it's so much worse when you don't even learn any new info on villain then you already had.

Bad beat jackpots are amazing and can make breakeven rooms into worth playing.

Bad call jackpots are calls to the suicide hotline.

Bad beats hurts me more because I feel powerless and there's no one to direct my anger at, even knowing that I did everything right.
