I'm in the process of optimizing my desktop layout for grinding, and I'm looking for a great background photo / desktop wallpaper to put behind my poker windows.
Right now, my current wallpaper is way too busy, and it's making it hard to track the action across multiple tables, leading to serious eye strain during long sessions.

Have you considered just removing the wallpaper entirely? Or any kind of graduated color scheme that is just colors and no pictures?

I only use Windows' landscapes, wallpaper doesn't affect gameplay, unless it's some light color that tires your eyes. The only thing that can affect your gameplay is the table color, avoid using red colors, because this can make you nervous and you'll end up making mistakes, choose light blue colors, because they can be calming.

I always prefer dark and as monotonous wallpaper as possible, so that my eyes can rest at least at this moment, considering that tournament sessions last 6+ hours
