Unless you move to a place where it's allowed, I think the smart thing is to find something else to earn a living with. It's not worth the risk considering that you could face steep fines and prison time in your country.

In this case, only GGPoker should be banned there, since the other sites are games of skill rather than gambling. Just kidding—before GGPoker's resident lawyer (nickname "Fundi-something-or-other") shows up with a legal defense argument.

There’s no need to start by making the decision to become a professional. A much more sensible path would be: Recreational player → winning player → semi-professional player → demonstrate consistent income → build a bankroll + living expenses fund → professional.
To become a professional, you need to find the right formula: TECHNICAL EDGE + SUFFICIENT BANKROLL + VOLUME + DISCIPLINE + EMOTIONAL CONTROL + CONTINUOUS STUDY + GAME SELECTION + FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

What a totally useless and braindead comment.

It's definitely a tough challenge playing from a country where gambling laws are strict, but if you love the game this much, your best path is online poker while building your skills through online communities, training sites, and hand reviews since you don't have players near you. Stay safe, keep studying, and follow your passion!

Not sure what you mean with the last few words, but if you're saying: "no one knows poker like you do", why don't you get out of Bangladesh and show the World what you can achieve. It would be a real waste staying there.

I'm going to go ahead and close this thread, because it's really irresponsible to advise OP on playing online poker when it is completely illegal, and has very stiff consequences. It's a really, really, bad idea, and advising otherwise is just reckless, sorry.
