online poker is a lot more difficult since you can't see the faces of others, so getting a title there would be more difficult.

Online: I can’t see how they breathe, how they move their hands, how they look at their cards, or how they react physically.
Therefore, you have to extract information from: bet sizing; the speed at which they bet; betting patterns; the frequency of raises, calls, and folds; positions; hand history; ranges; statistics, when the use of such tools is allowed; and the player’s repeated behavior.
Live: The opposite is true. In addition to everything mentioned above, you can incorporate body language, conversation, facial expressions, and other physical tells.

Spot on assessment! While live poker adds physical tells and body language into the mix, the foundational math, HUD stats, and logical bet-sizing patterns you master online remain the bedrock of winning play in both formats.

HUDs, solvers, and all kinds of other software, plus the competition is just too tough nowadays. There aren’t many players left who don’t use at least something like that.

It's not more difficult for me. We are all on an equal footing. If I can't read it they can't read me either. Now we are a bit at a disadvantage with those who use assistive software. But technology will eventually make its corrections so that we are all on an equal footing.

Its not more difficult due to not seeing players faces overall, some people may feel like they get a lot of tells live, some may feel like they give off more tells live, its a personal thing.
No one can see faces so its the same for everyone and therefore you have an equal chance to win as anyone of equal skill.

It may be more difficult to win an online tournament due to the larger number of players per tournament

The other way its more difficult is that the average live player at the micros is not as good as many of the decent micro players online

O poker online é muito mais difícil, já que você não consegue ver os rostos dos outros jogadores, então conquistar um título seria mais complicado.
“Hello. Do you really think that online poker is more difficult? Personally, I think that live poker is more direct. There are so many simultaneous factors at play, not to mention the annoying noise of chips clinking and players talking. In addition, it's not so easy to assess the size of the stacks of chips just by looking at them; you have to constantly estimate and count them. It is necessary to follow the depth of the batteries to understand the appropriate range per stack for the phase of the tournament you are in. Honestly, I find live poker much more challenging.”

Online poker is generally harder because players are more experienced, the game is faster, and you face tougher competition. However, online offers more volume and opportunities to improve, while low-stakes live poker often has softer competition.

The pace is much slower, so it can be difficult to "resist" yourself from playing more hands at first.Optimization will require much more dramatic, opponent-specific adjustments than you're used to online. In person, many people are trying to have fun, online, many people are trying to make money, draw your own conclusions.

Yes, this is absolutely true. It is indeed much harder to win at online poker than in a live game.
The absence of live faces is a game changer, but that's not the only problem.

I believe you don't have to see to know it's a bluff. A friend told me that also, I'm not really the expert

Its easier because you do not have to worry about giving off live tells and trying to read them.

I can cover my face with a mask during a live game, what would you do to get around that? Poker is played the same way regardless of the environment, the only advantage of live is that you're free from online casino manipulation.

I definitely think online poker is harder in some ways. In live poker, players are sitting face-to-face and most people don’t want to look stupid by making an absolutely terrible call in front of the whole table. There’s a certain amount of social pressure involved.

Online, that completely disappears. Players are anonymous, nobody knows who they are, and some of them just play like absolute maniacs. They’ll make crazy calls, chase ridiculous draws and shove with hands you would never expect.

That makes online poker much more unpredictable. Sometimes playing against “bad” players can actually be harder, because you can’t always put them on a logical range when there is no logic behind what they’re doing. 😄

and i have to admid.. playing like an absolute maniac makes it harder to win a tiltle...

I believe it depends a lot on the person. I actually find online poker easier because you can manage your game better. You can see the size of your stack in relation to the blinds, your position in the tournament, and the exact stack sizes of the other players. This gives you a better idea of whether you should play more conservatively or more aggressively.

I totally understand this argument, so much so that I do better in person, so to be able to register an online tournament we really have little information, but if we pay attention to betting patterns in certain positions we can determine what type of player we are dealing with, so we can have information to help us win tournaments, I hope I'm not talking nonsense lol
